California Golden Bears football would be my primary boo, and NFL football would be my man (men?) on the side.

Let me break it down for you.

When it comes to college, Cal Football is the only team for me. Maybe it’s because Cal Football was the first team I ever rooted for. Maybe it’s because I believed in Cal Football even when my 1st season with them was Tom Holmoe’s pathetic 2001 season where the Bears only won 1 game…

Regardless of the reason, Cal Football is the team that I want to spend the rest of my life rooting for.

In good times and bad. In sickness and in health. For better or for worse. Until death do us part. Go Bears!

But to be honest … Cal Bears football doesn’t always completely fulfill my football needs.

And although I could never dream of rooting for another college team the way I root for Cal, sometimes I need my fix of great football.

That’s where the NFL comes in.

For me, NFL football is just there so I can get my fix of exciting, well-executed football without the emotional commitment.

It’s why right now I’m a Green Bay Packers fan (mostly because of Aaron Rodgers). But next year, if Alex Smith ends up improving … maybe I’ll be a 49ers fan. If this whole new Raiders franchise ends up turning the fate of the Raiders around … maybe I’ll strap on my crazy and spend some time in the Black Hole.

Spending some time with the NFL doesn’t decrease my love for Cal Football. In fact, having the option to spend some time wrapped up with the NFL actually makes it easier for me to get through the tough times with Cal. It also reminds me how much I love the ‘heart’ element that is much more prevalent in college ball than pro ball.

In conclusion:

Go Bears! (And go whatever NFL team is playing good football!)

2) I made a podcast! (You should imagine me clapping my hands like a small child in reverie.) Because hella peeps keep asking me about my experience of Widener University’s Human Sexuality Education program … that is what this podcast is all about.

3) This is my first podcast, and something crazy happened at about 10 mins and at 25 mins to the audio. My apologies for blowing your ear drums out at those two points. Hopefully my next podcast will be a little bit more streamlined.

With that out of the way, here it is. What my exit interview for Widener University would’ve contained …. if there had been an exit interview (there wasn’t).
